What It MeanS
Soccer has been an avenue that has reaped many blessings and rewards. I have learned more about dedication, leadership, and teamwork from my years of soccer compared to any class or job I have ever had. The teambuilding, chemistry, and intense situations while playing are uniquely akin to sports and athletics. One learns to control their emotions, stay positive, adapt and stay resilient while navigating the ebb and flow of the game. I started playing soccer when I was three-years-old and am astonished by where I find myself today. There is an element of satisfaction and gratitude playing for such an incredible team. When schoolwork or life gets stressful, I have an escape in soccer, and I can not stress the impact my teammates and coaches have had in my life. I have grown in discipline and resilience with the team and have worked to integrate those virtues into my daily life. As my junior year comes to a close, I look forward to playing my remaining years with the team developing as a teammate, leader, and man.

Awards and Accolades
Nationals Qualification
I have played on the Men’s team since my freshman year at Arizona State. The team has worked and strived with one goal: to qualify to Nationals. For the first time since 1996 the 2023-2024 team was able to accomplish that goal and qualify to the knockout rounds in the tournament thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
Southwest Cup
The Southwest cup is an annual tournament that is played between all major universities in Arizona, New Mexico, and Southern Texas.
